"Some stories end badly, some end well, and others just keep going on..."

I'm using this as a way to keep my writing going (while I suffer from a seemingly unending writers block for the things I actually want to create.) In this book, each prompt is started for you, and it's left up to the writer to take their own direction into how they want to create and finish the story. These are the prompts I wrote. Reader Be Warned: Some of these might be taken into a darker corner of my mind. I hope you enjoy them, and I hope some of them take a turn you would not necessarily expect.

***I do tend to write graphic scenes and have harsh language and occasionally sexual content, while all these stories might not include these, I put a mature rating on it as a way to avoid any unwanted surprises to my readers. I will do my best to try to include some form of warnings/trigger warnings at the beginning of each story to make reading a more enjoyable experience for everyone. ***

And, of course, all feedback is accepted and well appreciated. :)

It's been five years since the plague struck. Leah knows there are other survivors, but she's avoiding them. She is doing just fine on her own. Surviving after everyone she knew died has made her physically strong and honed her intelligence, but she is emotionally devastated. There is nothing to fear if you don't make yourself emotionally vulnerable. James has spent the last five years helping to build up a colony of survivors. He believes in the small town they have populated and its mission to save humanity from extinction. He and his small team of men find scattered people and bring them in. Over the last two centuries, women have fought for and won more and more rights, gaining equality with men. Society, law, and technology bolsters and enforces these rights, but now they are gone. Women's equality with men is over. There are just too few of them. They aren't lesser but greater, more important, more valuable than men. Men are expendable. Men can stay outside alone if they like, but all women must be brought inside the safety of the Colony and properly taken care of. James has been searching the area Leah lives in. Her time of solitude is up. Leah sparks something in James he's never felt before. He's not letting this one get away, certainly not twice. Warning: Contains sex, some violence, occasional foul language, and adult issues. Genre: Science Fiction, Romance, Post-apocalyptic, Dark romance Length: 84,468 words This book has been published on Amazon. The first ten chapters will be updated to what you get in the published novel and will remain here, so you can try before you buy.

My crew and I take the jobs we need to survive in a world overrun by aliens. We fly a stolen ship that once trafficked women-us included. Now, we make our own rules and do whatever it takes to stay free. My latest job? Rehabilitate a Zohra-a towering alien locked away in prison, meant to be tamed into usefulness for his captors. Then I meet him-my job, a mute Zohra. And that's when everything goes sideways. Rescuing him wasn't in the plan, yet now we're on the run, supposedly relying on each other... except I'm the one doing all the work. He's frustrating. Completely useless. A liability, really. And yet, for some ridiculous reason, I just can't leave him behind.
