It's been several years since the zombie virus swept across America, there's only a loner survivor left, Gerard Way, who's the only one he knows of who survived the virus.
He's been on his own for years, until one day he stumbles upon another injured survivor, Frank, who was left for dead by his group.
Gerard realizes he isn't alone and gains a companion. They grow a bond which makes them inseparable and they would risk everything for each other. The bond does turn into something more and flames up hope.
Well, they're the only two of a couple of survivors.
What do they have to lose, except each other in the process of trying to survive?

He's homeschooled as well, which means he only ever leaves to get groceries. For how little he leaves the house, and how closed off he is, it's quite a wonder how he met Frank.
