The Somas live with a curse. Twelve members of the family (not including Kyo, who is the cat) are possessed by spirits of the Chinese zodiac and turn into their zodiac animal when they are weak, under stress, embarrassed, or when hugged by someone of the opposite sex.
When (Y/N) discovers the Somas' secret, she promises not to tell and is allowed to keep living with them. After one year, Akito suddenly ordered, that she will live in Germany for a long while. He said it is related to the curse and that she was the only person, who could fullfill this mission. Without questioning it, (Y/N) agreed to move to Germany. She also didn't tell anybody that she would move to Germany, because they would all try to stop her. Saying goodbye is always hard when the person is close to you. The only persons, who knows about the moving, are Akito, Shigure and Hatori.
