"My life falls between that of a loss of hope, and missed chances that'll soon become dreams of me by others. I'm sorry I wasn't strong enough to try. The end." - Maxwell Draper. Of all things to be found in the attic of Sage's new home, a set of journals with pictures and mementos was not to be expected. It's only human to read through them when she feels like her life is a mess. What's not human is when she starts seeing a boy named Maxwell appearing everywhere that looks like the boy in the journal that she can talk with the further she progresses in his journals. So what happens when she falls in love with him? What happens when she reaches the end of his life story?

♥A story of a boy, a girl, and a fear of falling.♥ Hazel Claire; a girl simply trying to find her place in the world. When she realizes everything in her life is not how she wants it, she packs her bags, switches towns, and transfers to another university to follow her dream in music. Little did she know she would be faced with the one thing she was trying so hard to stay away from, the one thing that could shatter her heart completely. Noah O'Conner; a boy trying to save everyone he cares about. Doing everything he can to hide the scars of his past, he pushes his image as the care free guy swinging his way through the female population at his university. Having that image is fine with him. Better than fine. Until he meets her. Both are running from mistakes that haunt them. But, as time catches up, so will those mistakes. Together, they will fall. What happens after falling, however, could break the both of them, or turn into the most beautiful thing they could imagine possible.
