Riku and Selena have always been close ever since Selena has arrived on the island. Making friends with everyone, Selena has spent the most time with him. She always thought of him as an amazing friend, but Riku sees her as more than that. When the storm came, Riku tried to grab Selena, but was sucked into the darkness before he could. Selena and Sora got sent together to Traverse Town. Riku slowly became corrupted, wishing for someone to save him, wishing for Selena to save him.
