Delilah Boukman, alias Delilah Piazzolla, is the leader of the new alternative rock/rap group Piazzolla Bandoneon. Or you could say The Vampire Lestat's new rival. Lestat becomes suspicious of Delilah's origins. He knows for sure that she is a vampire like him, but there's something more deadly hidden behind those little fangs. He suspects that she is a vampire of a whole other kind, and he's right. Delilah doesn't share the same blood as other vampires that derived from Akasha. She is neither connected to Akasha, or Mekare's bloodline.

If you have not read The Vampire Lestat, you would find the first chapter of this story confusing. Therefore, I recommend reading The Vampire Lestat first before continuing.
