Meet Link; An odd, aggressive, misunderstood, ex-Kokiri child from the Lost Woods. He's not the most friendly guy in the world, but watching your friends turn their backs on you tends to have that affect on people. He wants nothing more than to figure out what is wrong with him and who his actual family is, so he can find a small bit of normalcy for his life.

Enter Zelda; She's the total opposite of Link; Kind to all, caring, compassionate, friendly, and mainly shy princess on the run. After her castle is stormed by Ganon and his force, she is forced into fleeing into the Lost Woods, where she meets Link. She is determined to stop Ganon and return the crown to its rightful owner, her father, but may be fighting a hopeless effort.

And finally, comes Natalie; Brash, fearless, cold-hearted, and highly guarded, Natalie has been on the run her whole life. Her only goal is to stay under the radar and help put the pieces of destiny in place. But that's a little hard to do when destiny comes in the form of a snooty princess and a former boyfriend.

Mix these three together and the results are incredibly dangerous, but the question is, how dangerous are they? When their home land is threatened, the trio must work together to restore balance to the Triforce, and stop Ganon once and for all. ...But, can they do it in time? Or are they fighting for a land of ruins?

After thinking about it for a while, I want to share a sort of reimagining of the legend of Zelda breath of the wild (skip bellow the following text to the actual story if you just want what the story is about) I have loved botw since it came out, however, I, like a lot of you probably, thought there wasn't enough to the story, and I guess the community has influenced my Invision of how botw should have gone, but I'm getting ahead of myself I want to make this reimagining somewhat realistic in terms of how characters react, but don't expect that much from me in those terms (how I want the story to go) this will mainly focus on building Link's past and actually giving him his character, but I will also somewhat change the other main characters, but I will make them as close to their in-game personality as possible (the actual story) Link has always been a prodigy in combat ever since he was a child. His father is a newly retired member of the royal guard and lives with his family in a ranch (if you know the location, you know what I'm talking about) and was the first to realize Link's skills. His skills were so good, that he was able to beat most adults, albeit with a suitable weapon and the adult isn't a soldier. his skills had gained him a reputation whenever they traveled. What kind of adventures will be in store for Link later in life? This is my first story that I'm willing to put out, I plan on getting this story and the botw changed story out, but I'll have to consider if I want to continue after that point P.S. I can understand that the first chapter may not be that interesting, so if you don't, then skip to at the very least character 4 or 5 as that's when the story picks up the pace. But if you stick through the other chapters, I heavily appreciate that as well. All rights to any named character obviously belongs to Nintendo

"Where did you come from?" Ilia asked and that's when everything stopped. Where did I come from? I tried to remember, I thought really hard but all I could say was, "I came from a place where no mortal should ever come from if they dare keep their head." The words tumbled from my mouth before I could stop them. I slapped a hand over my mouth, scared I would say more I didn't understand. Why would I say that? (Y/n) had awoke inside of a strange house, surrounded by strange kids. The only issue with that logic, she has no memory. Nothing to trigger why the young man Link and the group of children would be so kind to a stranger. It dawns on her that she needs to find out who she is again. However a darkness is brewing, and Link has a destiny to follow. The strings of fate tangle between the young duo, and (Y/n) makes a decision to help save Hyrule from the darkness. With nothing more than a brave face and an emerald pendant tying her back home, she sets out with Link. They also fall under the service of an imp itching for revenge. However, there is one person standing in the way of (Y/n) getting home. Her best friend, the Usurper King, Zant. He has made it his life goal to protect (Y/n) from himself and place a veil over her eyes to keep her from seeing his wrongs. Her wrath would for sure be the end of his evil plans. This is, the Twilight Veil. A reader insert. COMPLETED- 2018 (Y/n)- Your name (L/n)- Last name (S/c) -Skin color (E/c)- Eye color (H/c)- Hair color The plot for this story is made by me. The plot of the game is made by Nintendo. I do not own you, I do not own this game. All characters are licensed to Nintendo and I'm just a nerd in love with Link. (Y/n) is for YOU and she may not act like you, but it's how I portray it. #1 For the Tag Zant
