In a slightly different 1820s England, Margot and her twin brother, Roland, grief the death of their father, and Margot decides to do something about his murderer.
Originally published in Aphelion Webzine in 2004, "Institute of the Dead" is one of many stories I've set in a slightly different--featuring ghosts, demons, and vampires--early nineteenth-century England.

The Medium
Seventeen year-old spirit medium Emily Chambers has a problem. Actually, she has several.
