Elizabeth never imagined her day would end up like this- trapped in a shrunken submarine with her rambunctious boss, a stuck-up British computer program who won't stop complaining, and a splitting headache that won't go away. To make things worse, they're all stuck inside of a plant for who knows how long. Could this day get any worse?

Basically I wrote this short story my freshman year as a biology assignment and I decided to go back and edit it into a cute and quirky story that I think you guys will like. Enjoy!

Alright, I don't know where to begin. My name is Anaya Matthew and... I'm turning into a freakn' robot! Richie: "Don't say it like that Anaya! You'll scare them before they've even opened the book. I clear my throat, It was only a few days ago when my little brother Richie came across a hidden cellar on our Grandfathers property in the woods of Dayton California. Inside, we were attacked by things called Twelve and Two, secret government experiments branded with the logo "The H.E.R.O.S PROJECT" that fused on our backs. And... we are running out of time. The experiments are taking over our bodies as they blanket our skin with their shiny metal coatings and technology. But, Richie and his genius wierdo friends think there's a cure. I hope they can find it in time before I'm forced to leave the love of my life and my best friend Tristian behind to the terrifying world Number Twelve is submerging me into. --------- Hey!!! According to James, she is the ultimate stubborn woman he has ever encountered in his entire life but according to Elizabeth he is the ultimate swagger-- that is if she hadn't known him too well. But the thing is, does she really know him well enough? Sharing a hidden relationship, it feels like she's embracing a stranger so dangerously but then there is this one particular point when everytime she is surrounded by his arms like an invincible shield, she could sense a constant reminder that he has a connection somewhere within her a long time ago...Complete
