Esta historia tiene lugar en Toluca y Oaxaca, lugar de nacimiento de nuestros dos protagonistas, Aristóteles Córcega (Alfa) y Cuauhtémoc López (Omega),
"En Toluca y Oaxaca se tiene una tradición, todo Omega que para la edad de 18 años no posea una marca de un alfa o beta será enviado al estado de Oaxaca a ser desposado por un Alfa de dicho estado que de igual manera para la edad de 18 años no tenga un Omega o beta a su lado, el esposo del Omega será decidido por el Gobierno y será notificado tanto al Alfa como al Omega, así como la fecha de su boda"
Con esta ley, toda esperanza de nuestros protagonistas de encontrar a su destinado se desvanece totalmente, sin embargo, saben el castigo por no cumplir dicha ley, por lo que solamente esperan la edad estipulada se tarde en llegar...
