"Promise that you'll always remember me?" "I don't really have a choice, do I?" Echo has always been the odd one out. Never hated, but never truly belonged anywhere either. Despite having a loving family, and a best friend, Idris, something is still missing. Something that is allowing the dark thoughts to start creeping into her head, telling her that she will never be good enough. Voices that convince her that she won't make it to graduation. Wilton was the missing child that had never lived in the same place for more than six months since he was eight. After his parents went through an ugly divorce and his mother had been granted custody, his father had taken matters into his own hand and whisked him away one night. Ten years later, Wilton is now starting his senior year at a new high school, one that he has no intention of actually attending. Idris has not known struggle his whole life. He had the looks, the talent, and the wealthy family that had all the right connections. Yet, senior year takes a huge turn after he comes home to a body wrapped in his living room carpet and a father pleading for him to keep his mouth shut. Despite their different pasts, they all have one request: "Remember Me"

"The last thing Laney wants is to be seen. Not really seen." After running from a past she refuses to talk about, Laney is just trying to keep her head down and survive senior year. New town, new school, new friends-none of them know the truth, and she plans to keep it that way. But secrets don't stay buried forever, especially when you have a best friend who won't stop pushing, a flirt who sees past your walls, and a past that refuses to let go. Between late-night skate park meetups, whispered fights, and a tension she doesn't know how to name, Laney realizes that sometimes, hiding hurts more than being seen. And Aiden? He's making it a lot harder to hide.
