Elizabeth or Beth or Liz or whatever, lives an extraordinary life in Manhattan. So far, your thinking "okay, so when does this book description get to the action or the zombies?" Well it doesn't. This is a plain old story about life. This is a plain old book with a plain old girl who has a plain old life and a plain old pen. But that pen isn't just a pen. If Liz picks up that pen, she gets a raise. If Beth doesn't pick up that pen, she loses her job. Tough luck, eh? Here's the thing, she doesn't know that that's what could happen. All she knows is that she'll wake up one morning, like any other day, but that day is special. That day will chose her entire life. And so will that pen. P. S Beth or Liz or Elizabeth are all the same person, just referred to in different ways.

Soon it becomes apparent why: Mason is a werewolf. But when a fight turns into a sudden kiss that neither expects, Kieran's feelings for Mason turn to attraction in an instant. None of it makes sense - vampires and werewolves are supposed to be mortal enemies, so why does Kieran find Mason so irresistible? He knows that each kiss is dangerous, each bite is unpredictable...
