Tessa Moonbeam was taken from her pack at a very young age and was raised my an evil king to be an assassin. Her life was absolute shit. She hated every minute of it. Well... until she met her mate, Raffin Black.

Tessa's life fell apart when he died. She blamed herself. She became nothing but a husk. Exactly what the king was trying to make out her to be. She stumbled through life for about two years before her best friend, Kaydin, said that enough was enough.

Kaydin, Jake, and Gideon. Her only three friends in the entire realm. The only ones she trusted enough to know what she really was. A werewolf.

On some level, they were just like her. Kaydin was a witch. Also a courtesan, they met when Tessa was sent to kill her client. Kaydin just happened to be there. The only reason she was kept alive was because of her scent. A witch.
