(Note: The plot and most of the characters in this story were created by me. The concepts of gelfling, Thra, Fireling, etc., all belong to the original creator and puppet master, Jim Henson. Everything else has been created from my imagination. This is also a SEQUEL to my first book "Beneath the Dark Crystal." If you haven't read that, I would HIGHLY suggest reading that first and then come back to this one. Also, cover art was made by me [@Magic_Is_Existing] so please do not steal nor borrow the art, especially without my permission. Other than that, enjoy the story.)
Once again, Thra turns into another time and another place-and this time, it's beyond the Age of Harmony. Thra's closest creatures-the gelfling and fireling-are forgetting who they are and what they stand for. They break bonds and split ways, not realizing that both are one. Ignus-Ember Queen Thurma's only son-has been destined to fix the bonds between his people and the All-Maudra's, but will his actions all come down to nothing?

The Dark Crystal
In a world, a long, long time ago, lived a crystal. The lands flourished and bloomed until the crystal cracked, the shard lost to time. There came two races with the crystal cracked, the Skeksis and the Mystics. With both races dying, only one could save them. His name was Keith, the last known living Gelfling. He was the chosen one. And he has no clue. NOTE: This takes place in the Dark Crystal universe but still has my own twists to it. I'm basing this story solely off the movie and my own imagination. A few tidbits of knowledge that would make this story make a lil more since are: -This one-shot is only based off the movie, not the comics nor the upcoming (as of 2019) show. -All of the species named here (Gelfling, Skeksis, Mystics, Podlings) are all more humanoid than what is canon in the Dark Crystal movie but you can still image them as you wish. -The Skeksis are the Galra. (The Mystics AREN'T the Alteans though.) Image the Skeksis as more Galra-like or more Skeksis-like, do what fits your imagination. Voltron and OC AU called Crystal Faith. Everything seems to be going just fine in Shiro's life. He's a senior officer at the Galaxy Garrison (Crystal Core) along with his fiancé Adam and his daughter just enrolled as a cadet. But he keeps having nightmares and it's starting to mess with him. There's a battle with the Galra on Earth that leaves everyone shaken, but leaves Shiro in worse conditions than before. (Voltron is not necessarily a part of this story.) None of the art is mine. (Shiro is a winged lion, Adam is human, Pidge is half Altean, and half Galren, Holly is a weird, human thing with wings, Iantha is a catfolk, Lance is human, Luna is a werewolf, Percy is human, Keith is half galra, Krolia is a full Galra and that's about it.)
