A short story I wrote for english class after reading the Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allen Poe. It was a terrible night- yes, an awful night indeed. I woke up, I was in a barren room that had only a bed and a single door. My surroundings were unfamiliar, and the tips of my fingers were red from frostbite. You see it was a cold night, there was a light layer of snow that formed a carpet on the ground and an odd moonlight was shining through the metal bars of the open window...

We came to a stop in front of what looked to be a farm house of some sort? Probably a slaughter house, this is where my life ends. He got out of his car without making a sound and opened my door. "Get out" He said calmly. "W-where are we?" "Get out of the car." he said in a harsher tone. What the hell did I get myself into.
