Yuna Lee is the picturesque unnoticed nerd archetype at first appearance, but take a step closer into her life and she is a feisty feminist too scared to share her ideals in the patriarchal school of Montgomery County, Maryland.

Elle Lavigne is the popular cheerleader that shadows the HBIC (Head Bitch In Charge), Chandler Samuel. She had been best friends with Yuna since Kindergarten, both sharing the same goal: to get into an Ivy League school. However, with her popularity, she begins to grow farther apart with Yuna, and procrastinate studying, therefore her grades start dropping rapidly. Can she rekindle their relationship and get Yuna to help her with her grades?

And finally, there's Brandon Williams, the poetic, romantic, badass of the school who every girl falls for. Lucky for him, one girl falls deeper than the rest: Yuna Lee, the nobody that he has no idea even exists.
