Patton lived in the small town of Washington where he lived alone. Hardly anyone lived there apart from 6 other people who seem connected in some way that is unknown to them. Patton lives in a world where the first words your soulmate says to you is written on your skin. The permentant presence of the words 'You're in my seat' on his thigh had yet to disappear until his soulmate utters them one day. Deep down he dreaded that day. You see, Patton had no interest in a romantic relationship which was abnormal in a world ruled by the soulmate system. Virgil hated the soulmate system. He hated it because it gave him the words 'well aren't you a ray of sunshine' printed boldly on his forehead. Luckily for him, foundation was his best friend (and his only friend, for that matter). He never showed it, but he longed for the day his soulmate would sweep the aggravating statement off his forehead and him off his feet. Logan, to put it simply, was married to his work. A love interest didn't interest him in the slightest. The only heed he took that the soulmate system existed was the thinly printed 'what did you say?' on his left palm. He heard that statement a lot but the mild annoyance on his hand was yet to disappear. Roman lived up to his name as a big romantic. In his eyes, the soulmate system was the best thing to happen to him, so the fact that the words written on his collarbone were 'go away' really burst his bubble. The thought of spending his life with his 'other half' was enthralling to him, but the fact his dad expected him to settle down with a nice girl was terrifying. Roman is a great leader to his kingdom. He is as noble as he can be, loyal to all, and is incredibly generous to his subjects. He is known as one of the best leader his kingdom has ever had. Everyone sees him as this kind, loving, perfect prince that puts his kingdom before himself. But he's actually a lonely, confused prince that wants someone who he can love and they feel the same way. His friend Logan doesn't know what he's feeling because he has no feelings to feel. Logan says that that Roman should focus more on his roll as leader of the kingdom than worry about his 'love life.' Roman starts to believe him for awhile until two men that are Roman's subjects visit the palace to start working for the prince. Roman however notices that one of the men looks gorgeous. He was dressed in black and goes by the name Anxiety. Roman ends up falling for this beautiful gentleman but he doesn't known what he's been through. "Confrontation" -A Prinxiety Fanfic
Virgil has always tried his hardest to stay out of the the way of the others in the mind scape, to not cause any problems. He was a very nonconfrontational person, after all. But sometimes, confrontation seemed to hunt him down. ' "And lastly, it really comes down to who's more experienced." I smirk a bit at him and bite my lip, smug as he stares back at me. Roman seems to lean in a fraction of an inch, still not breaking eye contact. Then his eyes flicker over my the rest of my face breifly, and my breath catches in the back of my throat. ' ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★ This story is of everyday life in the mind, and draws inspiration from a lot of books, including, but not limited to, "THE QUIET", "Stitched", and "far too damaged", along with references to other books I have read in my previous fandoms. This was kinda odd for me, writing in Virgil's point of view, mostly because I like to stray very, VERY far from the whole, "dayum they're hawt... Woit wat?" Kinda stuff. But Virgil is kinda, y'know, anxiety... Either way, I still tried to keep it on a restraining order, minimum distance of 40 ft. ;P. However, there definitely was some internal conflict going on. In a kingdom long lost in time itself, Thomas, a loyal prince, had lost his parents to a dreadful storm. The death of his parents was tragic and Thomas was deemed future ruler of his kingdom. He excepted all of them and made them his helpers of his court.
