Callie is a 10 year old little girl, with a mind of a small child.
When Callie and her parents go to take a canoeing trip with her, something bad happens to the parents, and Callie has to leave and canoe on her own, in the middle of the river, surrounded by nothing except for trees, water, and a little bit of land that she can stop to take a few breaks too.
Not only that, but she only has a little to eat, and half of a sandwich and one orange, and there is no telling if she can get back to shore where many people are.
And with her parents gone, she has no one, but her tiny little mind of a small child, and a big river, that may be good.All Rights Reserved
