The Queen's Curse by @euphyrys
A Greek Mythology Story

Previously known as Through Golden Blood
•••

The Queen of the gods never imagined that this was the sort of life she was going to have. Every second of the day feels like an eternity for her. An eternity of hell. After all, she has to withstand all the pain over the years. Her family's hatred towards her. Zeus' endless betrayal and infidelity. They had labeled her as the bitter Queen, vindictive, and jealous wife.

None of them considered whatever she was going through. The constant inner battles were even worse than her extensive arguments with her husband.

How long till she had enough of all the suffering she endured?

How long will it take till she finally loses hope for her family and her husband?

She was tired of it all.

•••

The void temporarily connected with the Lord of the Underworld's domain together with evil spirits fleeing from chains that bound them, causing misery in the world above.

Now, the entire council and the rest of the deities are facing a new threat whilst encountering a tragedy that will change the course of events.

It will be up to the king to save his queen from the clutches of their past as it is the fate of all the realms that rests in his hands.

"Even amid the hurricane with remorseless winds
and lightning strikes of the sinister storm,
my heart belonged to you."

Pairing: Zeus/Hera

A/N: This book is an outlook on Hera's life. I do not own Greek Mythology but I own the plot of the entire story.

Dylan King and His New Roommate Called Goddess Athena [1st Book] by mythloaver
63 parts Ongoing
Like anyone else, a 25-year-old mini market worker Dylan King will never think that he will witness the Greek Goddess Athena come out from a yellow lightning spark magically appears in his room. It turns out that the goddess has just managed to free herself from a realm called Kolaseos. This realm has imprisoned her for more than a thousand years, thus making her and her people a myth. As Athena attempts to adjust herself with the present life, her lifelong enemy Medusa also comes out from the same spark, even though the location where it is located is different. Being engaged in a skirmish against the gorgon is inevitable, and it ends up leading Dylan and Athena to find more Greek Gods, who apparently have also come out from Kolaseos too. One of them is Hephaestus, the Greek God of Blacksmith. Later on, Dylan learns that an ex tech billionaire is suspected to have built a machine that will summon and control any creatures or gods still trapped in Kolaseos, with the classic purpose of taking over the world. The suspicion itself is getting stronger with monsters ambushing them and Medusa, making the gods determined to stop the ambitious man. Dylan does not regard it as a problem, until his involvement with them risks him to repeat a tragic past; one that he has actually been trying to hide for the past few years. Dylan is aware that the deeper he is involved will only make the possibility become bigger. However, as he is somehow blessed with the power to shut Kolaseos portal, he can be considered as the most crucial key to gain victory. To make it worse, he later learns that avoiding the conflict will only lead to a future that is way more tragic than he had predicted earlier. Knowing which option he should take, he cannot imagine what will happen to him once the problem is finally solved.

"Jealous?" "Why would I be?" "Because I know your fantasies." He argued. I leaned closer to him, smelling his overwhelming scent. "And I'm appalled at how they are just that. Fantasies." He smiled and leaned closer, piercing through my eyes with the blue of his. I wanted to grab the dagger beneath my pillow and kill him already. "Are you now?" He answered, coming dangerously close to me. He brought his hand up to lift my chin, our noses touching. Gods, help me. I want nothing to do with this man. I really don't. He hates me, and I hate him. Our banter is not just banter; there's always a sense of truth in between, and that's what makes it all the more addicting. - THE GOD is the master of death and darkness. Lore, previously known as Hades, rarely ever visited the mortal realm. As the gods get involved in a war against the rebellious uprising amongst the dark angels, he must work together with a group of immortals, a ruthless and serpentine assassin being one of them. THE SHADOW is a half-breed. Left destitute at seven and made a killer eleven years later, she leaves destruction and death wherever she walks the mortal realm. Forced into a team unit as punishment for her insolent behavior, she must work with the god she grew to admire and learned to hate. Alliances built on lies and hatred are inevitable to fall. Who will win in this game of the gods? (Modern Retelling of the story of Hades & Persephone)
