The story is all about showing gratitude to your parents & standing for the person you love. Arnav is an orphan. Bobby adopted him & raised him as his own son. Bobby & Vishaka's love for Arnav didn't reduce even after Sameer was born to them. However, there is a clash between Arnav & Bobby when it came to choosing the former's life-partner. Bobby rejected Khushi as he felt that she does not belong to their class & won't be able to keep up to their traditions. Arnav marries Khushi much against the wishes of his father.
