In the real world science rules above all else. Gravity makes things fall, waters a liquid, animals are all part of the food chain. But there's an entire different part of the world that humans haven't discovered, and most likely won't ever. That is the world of the supernatural.
I'm talking vampires, werewolves, faeries, sirens, warlocks, mermaids and merman, and wendigo. All of which lurk right under the humans noses.
Amelia was a small human girl with dark brown hair and deep blue eyes. Fully grown at 5'3 in height, her stature was something constantly used against her. She had family issues and serious trust issues, leading her to isolation. That all changed when a rather large man shows up at her door step one night.
Nickolas, or Nick for short has been a Wendigo for just short of three-hundred years. He was turned at the age of twenty-seven, making him three-hundred seventeen. Traveling the world for that length of time gets boring without company, and now he's on the search for a partner. Whether it be a friend or something more, he doesn't care. Just as long as he gets his partner in crime to help bare the weight of immortality.

Ready Or Not, Here I Come
Once upon a time, there was a pretty young girl that had no clue that werewolves and vampires and what not existed. And then a werewolf bit her. That's where the similarities between Annabeth Moonlight and what she believes to be the "fairy tale world" end. Annabeth is a normal 17 year old high school girl, thinking normal high schooler thoughts, when a werewolf bites her. Most rudely, too. Then, just when she convinces herself that the bite was just some wierdo, she begins the Change. She starts hearing a voice in her head that claims to be her wolf. And finally, once she has finally gotten a handle on all these new changes (actually, she only thinks she has), a handsome guy walks into her life, and her inner wolf tells her that he is her destined mate. And just as she thinks everything is going perfectly, a man from her (very recent) past shows up and turns everything around. And he happens to be another mate. But a werewolf can only ever have one mate at any given time, as Annabeth has learned. So one is real, and the other is faking it, to put it simply. So now, she also has to figure out which one is "good" and which one is "bad". Just freaking great. And, just after she does that, she gets caught up in a war. (Well, technically, she starts the war, but let's not get caught up in the technicalities, shall we?)
