Valora is a forester, she spends most of her time trekking through the wooded mountains, gathering valuable plants and fungi in places where no one else dares tread in the Deepwood. That was the only life she knew, and she was content to live that way until she met Livia, a prim and proper lady who was oddly sheltered by her parents. The two begin a secret friendship that blossomed into more. Then, life was like a wonderful dream, a feeling only first love can evoke.
Until it all became a nightmare.
Now, Livia has been taken away by the intimidating Lord Brennan and Valora must leave the life she knows to embark on a seemingly hopeless journey to rescue her beloved.
