Two long months after ACL surgery, your pattern of life has almost gone back to normal: you can finally walk without those dreaded crutches (the clunky brace still remained strapped on, however, to your displeasure). Everything seems to be going in an uphill pattern for you, that is until you and your entire English class are suddenly abducted by armed soldiers and a strange man in a white lab coat. 

Physically impaired, you were singled out amongst your classmates... the perfect guinea pig. With no capability to fight back, they threw you to the mercy of the Plague Doctor, intrigued to see how he'll react amidst the presence of an injured individual such as yourself.

As I walked away, the crystal fell, causing it to break into a million pieces. I jumped at the sudden noise and stumbled backwards, my eyes widening as a black smog formed around the crystal. "No, no, no, no! Frick." I desperately tried to grab the remains of the crystal, causing one to cut my hand. "Ow! Shit." I whispered, looking at my bleeding hand. "Tch, tch, tch, poor child." A demonic voice said. I looked up and saw that the black smog had two red eyes and a wide, sick smile that was dripping with venom. "I- who are you?" I asked, backing up. "The one who can help you out of here." It said, stretching out a hand. I looked it up and down and before I could answer, its hand plunged into my heart, causing me to scream out in pain.
