When Eddie finds himself awake and unharmed, he's trying to figure out if he really did die. He expected to burn in hell, not wake up in some foreign, barren land.

What he doesn't expect is to find Chrissy there too, in a vacant world full of monsters and ghosts and no way out.

Maybe the key to figuring out where they are, lies with each other and the risks they are willing to take. Are they in the afterlife, or somewhere in between? And if this is the afterlife in some alternate dimension, maybe, just maybe, there's a way back home.

But Chrissy is hiding something: she knows how this world works- or at least, she thinks she does.
