Betty Cooper was told 7 years that her boyfriend Jughead Jones had died during a serpent mission. She and him were king and queen, she loved him with all her heart. She loved him to the point that it took a year after he died she started to except the fact. She took over the serpents and they have been running better than ever before. They were impostors, thieves, ruthless, drag racers, and wild. There were whatever you wanted them to be.... for the right price and job. Betty had always never fully believed that Jughead had died. There wasn't a body just a gunshot. And blood.... lots of blood. His blood. So she keep an eye out all over the world with help of her associates. About 2 years ago he popped up and she has keep an eye on him ever since. She knows its him from his tattoos to the fact that Veronica is with him. It sucked when she found out that the guy she loved who she thought was dead is engaged to her ex best friend in secret. But she got over it with the help of Sweet Pea.
