Daph Wryder is a little bit less than a typical near-16-year-old, what with her introspective mind, shy and quiet ways, ability to make the most fantastic music out of ANYTHING, and troubles that other people her age mght not necessary have to deal with. Though she doesn't have many friends, she is well-liked and envied among those who watch her day in and day out. She lives purely for the memory of her deceased mother, breathes strictly for her music. But an unexpected stranger pops into her life, changes everything she lives for, and he becomes her life's most important aspect. Daph soon finds herself becoming the typical, deranged, boycrazed, conceited etc. teenage girl. Does she have the power to return to her old self? Does she even want things to return to the way they were before she found love? What can Daph thank for her confusion, but also turn to in the times she needs it most? The music.
