Clareton is the perfect city. Suggested by the great planner Elizabeth Clareton, this city is Utopia...absolute flawlessness. But in this cruel world, nothing can be left perfect, unscathed, away from the sharp eyes of the Hawks, who have been troubling the nations of the world for reasons unknown, and now have got their attention on this peaceful city. No one knows who they are. But maybe this invasion will reveal the true nature of this mysterious group and the origins of this seemingly perfect city

There is two worlds, or at least that's how it felt in the terms of the only remaining two cities left of the world. With a violent plague that wiped out 99% of the world, a revolution struck that had men power struggling into what now the world looked like and who should be in charge. That's when the "Divide" happened. With the remaining land and people arguing and fighting over how society should be run and handled, the land was soon divided into the Daylight City and the Nightfall City causing a major division in both the world and people. Rayne Parker was your normal nineteen year old girl, starting her first year of college and avoiding the grand and rich lifestyle she once came from back in Charleston, South Caroline. But as soon as the plague hits and not only wipes out everything she started to associate in build for herself, she soon is forced to come into rearranging her whole life and plan to "start over". Dove is sent back to reconnect with her own family she was running away from and the very city that had felt like a rich escape town. But as she grows into more of her now role of survival and a completely different society, that's not the only thing that is making her life more complicated and desperate. Two Words. Luke Augustus.
