The last remnant of mankind struggles to survive. Their world consists of a village on a mesa surrounded by sands scorched by an empty red sky. The Old Man, the mystical leader of the tribe, teaches that "the weak must die so that the strong may live." Mithash, one of the tribe's hunters, challenges the tribe's dogma, hoping to find a greater truth.

*Under the Red Sky* will be the first installment in what will become *The Mithras Cycle*, an introductory series for the world of Eoroth.

*Book Two Of The Federation Series* It is said that the moon goddess created supernatural beings that gain strength from the moon, creatures of the night. Werewolves were the first supernatural beings created. They were her favorite and most cherished of all the supernaturals because they were the most loyal and obedient of all her children. The moon goddess looked favorably upon the Weres, blessing them in many ways. For hundreds of years, they prospered and basked in the goddess's love. With the help of her vessel, she proclaimed that rejecting your mate is a crime against her and should be punished henceforth. The elders fully agreed and rejecting one's mate soon became illegal, bringing about an end to the act. But one Werewolf male thought himself above the law. Because he was of royal blood, he felt the law shouldn't apply to him and he did the unthinkable. He not only rejected his beautiful and sweet mate Aubrielle, but he also imprisoned and tortured her. His crime came with a hefty price, one that was used as an example for generations to come. ************************ Though it is not necessary to read Secrets Of The Past before this one, It might be a good idea to do so since there are things in that book that will help understand some things in this one. ************************ Rated: Everyone.
