Shadow

This is inspired by the Peter Pan in once upon a time, but with its own twist.

In this version, lost boys are saved by Peter once they are on the verge of committing suicide. They lose their shadows indicating that they are lost, and Peters shadow is wherever one of the boys are so he can find them. Peter can never catch his own shadow and at first doesn't mind, he loves Neverland, at least until he meets Wendy.
Wendy is not a lost girl, but her older brother John is a lost boy, and that's how they meet, when Peter comes to retrieve John. This story is based on their relationship and what really happens on the island that the original Disney cartoon didn't tell you.
No one can remain lost forever.
