After escaping their abusive home and life of neglect Blake takes on the role of a parent and supports his younger brother through High School but as Joel tries to keep moving forward his past begins to hold him back. As Joel loses focus on his future he resorts to deceitful and aggressive behaviour that begins to put a strain on the brothers close relationship.
