Wendy Darling has grown up. Much to the chagrin of her parents and aunt she pursued her desire to become a novelist, leaving England to travel the world. Now 24 and unmarried Wendy returns home, however her thoughts linger on the past. The people of Neverland, all those long years ago, are gone ... aren't they? In childhood it all seemed so clear: good and evil, life and love, right and wrong. Now an adult, all grown up. Wendy finds things far more complicated, and she dreams in her heart to return to the land of the never never. But sometimes dreams can become reality in the most unexpected ways possible.
