Dawn Skyler Banks suffers the death of her boyfriend, a boy she loved with all her heart. A year later she moves to a new town and still holds on to her past, the past that she thinks she'll never get over. A past that she is not ready to let go of.

She closes herself to the world but one thing she doesn't know is that the more she pulls herself away from life and the people around her the more they get attracted to her and one of them being Dorean McCain.

The question is though, will she completely detach herself from these people and choose the dark 'sadistic' path or will she find a reason to live again and be alive? A reason to live, laugh and love.
