Authors Notes: -Inspired by The Arcana game -this will start out like the game but evolve into its own story -I still have school so updates will come as fast as possible Nemuie is a magician, and a good one at that. Rhenyan has been through a lot. Being the only Master of magic in existence will do that to a person. He and his trobah, Auroya, pride themselves on being ready for any possible situation. But the one thing Rhenyan could never prepare himself for is falling in love. Xena lives in a small town with her mother and 3 younger siblings. She hides a dark secret that only she and her mother know about, and her mother makes sure to abuse it at every turn. After she goes a step too far, Xena's quiet life is turned upside down as she becomes a rogue, wanted Soul mage. Rhenyan and Auroya receive an interesting job offer that eternally-curious Auroya can't refuse. While they learn more about Soul magicks and attempt a daring rescue & return mission, they struggle to not lose sight of their true selves before they can return home. But some revelations along the way promise a new normal, and an even more uncertain future for all involved.
