A promise forgotten in time, a sad loss, a broken heart, and a flow of time that seems to run too fast. (Y/N) doesn't remember anything about her childhood before meeting the teacher who trained her to become a demon hunter. Even without remembering anything she was really happy living with her teacher and his other disciples; but all that happiness finally came to an end when her best friend dies at the hands of a demon during the final selection and the person she loved so much ends up blaming her for his death. Due to the cruel words of that person, she simply decides to disappear and abandon everything to find a new motivation to continue living and once she found it, she returns to achieve her goal but... why do things seem so different now?

There was nothing he could say to her. Because his friend was right, just like she usually was. They were young but the chances of them ever growing old were lower than just low. Maybe this would be the last time they'd see the sakura petals fall. Perhaps it was the last time he would see her alive. They were just 19 years old. Someone could say they were young, too young to die. "I guess we're not that young anymore, are we?" Inside, it felt like they were old. Nearly too old to be alive.
