Jimmy Lin's Military Diary

This is the army diary of one of my most favorite singer and actors from Taiwan, Jimmy Lin Zhi Ying. He served in the Taiwanese military for 2 years from Oct/Nov 1994 to Oct/Nov 1996. Many artists have served but none have shared their experiences in as much detail as he did if they did share it at all. He may be the only one who will ever share his military life and experiences in this much detail. Anyone who wants to know more about life in the military, then you should read this translation of his diary. This is the closest that anybody can get to see how life is in the Asian military unless you serve yourself. If anyone is concerned about their favorite artists who need to serve in the military then this is highly recommended for you to read. More details will be in my introduction and body of the diary and all.

I know this is not directly related to BTS or other Kpop stars that you all may like, but since Jin is leaving soon and many are worried as many of you do not know anything about the military so I decided to post this. As you all know all Korean males must serve and Jin's turn is coming soon. Then the rest of them will go according to age. Read to ease your worries and curiosity if you want. It is all up to you all. I may not post it all if no one is reading and commenting since it takes a lot of work to do this and I do not get any benefits for it. It is more to enlighten fans' knowledge and answer their questions about the military as some have asked me the same questions over and over again. I also included photos and stuff too so you can all have an idea how a military institution looks.
