Alright, I don't know where to begin. My name is Anaya Matthew and... I'm turning into a freakn' robot! Richie: "Don't say it like that Anaya! You'll scare them before they've even opened the book. You've got one job, tell them what the darn book is about and let me get back to work." I clear my throat, It was only a few days ago when my little brother Richie came across a hidden cellar on our Grandfathers property in the woods of Dayton California. Inside, we were attacked by things called Twelve and Two, secret government experiments branded with the logo "The H.E.R.O.S PROJECT" that fused on our backs. And... we are running out of time. The experiments are taking over our bodies as they blanket our skin with their shiny metal coatings and technology. But, Richie and his genius wierdo friends think there's a cure. I hope they can find it in time before I'm forced to leave the love of my life and my best friend Tristian behind to the terrifying world Number Twelve is submerging me into. --------- Hey!!! This Book isn't just about ROBOTS. There's mystery's that need solving, teenager-high school problems, dating through an awkward time in your life (relatable), and learning to cope with siblings, especially siblings that can't stay out of trouble and constantly start fires. New Mars Academy: The Four Keys
School leaver Dylan's life appears to be going nowhere. Working and gaming all summer really is as dull as it sounds. That is until everything changes when a UFO crashes into his house. Stupidly, he tries to pilot the bashed up UFO. With some daring manoeuvres, he successfully outruns the space police for a while. But within minutes of learning how to land, he's quickly arrested. With their amnesiator not working, the police take him to the post-dystopian human-inhabited planet known as New Mars. Of course New Mars with it's alien technology, it's people, it's creatures and everything else about it shouldn't exist. Highly impressed with Dylan's flying skills, the president of New Mars offers to release him and his friend Zac into the New Mars Academy. OK, it's not the most prestigious place to study but it's far better then having their memories erased before being dumped back on Earth. They're soon befriended by fellow misfits including mayhem making ladette and talented hacker 'mischievous' Maya, disturbed and angry girl 'crazy' Daisy with her dark mysterious past and likeable conspiracy theorist 'loony' Lauren. Together they must fight the return of the evil dictatorship before it can wreck the re-emerging New Martian society. Max lives a very solitary life for a kid in a penthouse on Mars, and all they've ever wanted is to see Earth. And maybe to see their family more too. They at least get one of those things the summer after they turn sixteen, but spending the next few months on Venus with their aunt, uncle, and beloved cousin comes with a price; their parents are getting divorced.
