What happens when one of the last freakshows comes to your town? Not only is it a grotesque event viewed for pleasure at a circus but one that harbors secrets and hidden evils behind the curtains. Scarlett didn't know what to think when she heard about the circus coming to her town; her town was small, rarely anything visited it. She never expected to be ripped from her life and forced into their society of freaks, struggling to keep their business. Where Do The Freaks Go After The Show? Every city has its hidden cracks - places only the unwanted know how to find. In those cracks, freakshows still exist, grimy and makeshift, a rotating cast of human oddities performing for drunks, perverts, and the morbidly curious. These aren't just humans with deformities; they're something else. Twisted bodies warped by supernatural afflictions - extra limbs that claw at the air like starving dogs, flesh that bubbles and reforms, teeth growing where no teeth should be. After each show, the performers vanish from public eye. They retreat to The Outskirts Sanctuary, a half-ruined, bloodstained compound just outside the city's border, where the real carnage begins.
