A novel inspired by The Outsiders Tulsa, 1965. She wasn't a Greaser. She wasn't a Soc. She was something quieter, sadder, stronger - a girl who showed up when things fell apart and stayed long after they should've scattered. To Ponyboy, she was a mystery wrapped in poetry and cigarette smoke. To Sodapop, she was laughter in the kitchen at 2 a.m. To Johnny, she was kindness - the first he'd ever known. But to Dally, she was danger. Something soft he could never keep. And to Darry, she was the one thing he couldn't protect - no matter how hard he tried. They both loved her in their own ways. She loved them both back. But only one could have her. And when the bullets fall, and the fire dies out, and the silence grows loud - she'll still be there. The girl with scraped knees and a heart full of gold. The Earth Angel they never forgot.
