Death at the Orleans Hotel

Elise Everett has just lost her family, the only family she will ever remember. Her grandmother leaves Elise a house, one that Elise will have to move into by herself. If she does not, then she will be brought to an adoption center, where Elise will certainly perish. As 18-year old Elise struggles to cope, she runs away from her grandmother's house, and lives in a hotel for a night. Suddenly, Elise finds herself in a world where death is inevitable, because you can't change history.
