Runaway Devil

Kara knew she was turning into a legend. She knew creatures would be after her. And the she-devil will meet them head on. The rivalry between Angels and Demons started with the first families, and their blood feud was passed down through the centuries. Their hatred for one another runs deep. The Angels are always told that they are fighting the holy war, defending the world from the Demons influence. Demons knew they had to keep the Angels from throwing off the natural balance. And so the fight rages on, even now.

Kara, a demon, was a problem. She had advanced quickly in her training, and was now at the top of her brigade. She may be their best soldier on the ground, and the leading officer of the Elites, but if the council ruled her a threat, she was done.

Alec, an angel, was Heaven's second in command. He was the one on the ground, sloshing through the blood and mud, as battles waged on. No one had risen in rank as fast as he in millennia. He was the only one that Heaven's council trusted with sensitive matters, thus making him one of the most deadly Angel alive.

And rumors have spread about the runaway devil. Kara is shrouded in mystery, making her his most challenging mission yet.
