The Soulless Pirate and the Wicked Sea Witch

A sea witch who made a fatal decision long ago that cost her everything.
A pirate who must now help a sea witch or risk losing his kingdom and.....his life.

It ran in his family for generations to give their soul to Hades on the day they became King, gaining not only wealth and power but also wisdom. Aimilios wanted nothing more than to follow in his father's footsteps and every man before him. And so, he did. He gained not only wealth but unimaginable power. His kingdom flourished and he became one of the most feared and revered kings/pirates to live. The only cost was his afterlife. When Hades chose for Aimilios to die, truly die, he'd spend the rest of his life in the Underworld and would have no chance of going to Elysium....the place where most people wanted to go to after they died.

One day, Aimilios and his best friend, Cassius, return home to replenish their ship, as well as for Aimilios to check in on his kingdom and see how his people are doing, he comes across a man who is passing through his kingdom. The man is exhibiting a mermaid and Aimilios becomes fascinated by her, wanting the mermaid for himself. He steals the mermaid, thinking it would be exciting to have a mermaid aboard his ship and all of the ways that he could benefit from her power. But what he didn't know was that there were consequences for stealing a mermaid. Particularly this mermaid.

He quickly finds out that sea witches are real and this one is pissed at him. And she'll stop at nothing to get what she wants. She'll drag him to hell and back if that's what it takes and little does she know that he's already been there. But what he soon finds out is that she can make his stay in the Underworld permanent and at any time she chooses, forcing him to choose between helping her with a terrible task that goes against everything he believes in or letting himself die early and be tormented in the Underworld for all eternity.
