Now 5 years later she is a beautiful, kind woman and has a perfect life. An amazing apartment, a job as a sales associate at a local Tiffany&co. store, and a small cute kitten to keep her company.

Jake King used to be one of Lyra's bully-victims, and one of Lyra's high school crushes. But he's all grown up now. He's mature, pretty, smart and a gentleman. When Lyra bumps into him at a grocery store, she apologizes to him.
Soon they become close friends and Lyra starts to catch feelings.
But she's too afraid to confess. Lyra thinks Jake won't forgive her after all she did to him back in high school.
