Drapetomania: (n.) an overwhelming urge to run away "You still not talking to that Kaspbrak kid?" Richie didn't feel the panic he did whenever eddie was brought up. He could talk to Carl about anything. Carl was probably the only person he was comfortable speaking about any of his issues. "No. He uh- he's actually part of the reason I left today. It was a lot seeing him again." Carl nodded slowly. "Fuck him." Richie looked over at him weirdly. "No. I'm serious. Fuck that kid. Do you realize how much of your life you threw away because of that kid?" Richie shook his head "N-no it was me. I fucked up" Carl scoffed "But instead of trying to fix the issue, that kid and all his friends just abandoned you. When you left, nobody looked for you. So like I said. Fuck that kid, and fuck his friends. You don't need them" Richie frowned a bit. He didn't want anyone to tell him the truth, he wasn't ready to hear it, but leave it to Carl. (I'm really bad at descriptions so I decided to put a scene in the book instead so hang in there with me, it's not as bad as it seems)
