Alexandra Jackson, Alex for short, is a 14 year old girl unsure of what to do with her life. As far as she knows, her parents left her at a young age and the people at her school consider her a freak. For as long as she's remembered, Alex has loved the ocean and has felt a connection with it. But no one believes her. She to everyone around her is just a nobody who's parents didn't want her.
However that all changes when she stumbles past a camp by the name of "Camp Half-Blood"...
