Willow Sauver is an 18 year old lesbian who has a slight weed problem. After her mom caught her kissing a friend she made her transfer schools. Now, struggling depression and loneliness, she struggles with her new surroundings .... and then there's Lucy. Beautiful, compassionate, and also a smoker? Despite being terrified of denial, Willow falls head over heels with Lucy. But will Lucy want to stay even when she sees the darkest side of her? I haven't posted anything here in ages, so here is my first MA for mature story ☺️ feedback is welcome, ty for reading ! CW: gay stuff (homophobia not welcome ❤️) depression mentions, swearing, sensual romantic scenes, and of course marijuana use! If u don't like u don't have to read ☺️ enjoy!

At 23, Susie feels like the poster child for "I Should've Dropped Out Years Ago." Trapped in the endless purgatory of university life, she's basically a hermit who's seen the vibrant social scene from afar-like a documentary on Netflix she didn't feel cool enough to click on. Her one lifeline? Rina, her ride-or-die best friend, who helps Susie survive the chaos of classes, friendships, and Susie's questionable romantic decisions. Between stressing over midterms and obsessing over whether Georgia's text messages have hidden meanings (spoiler: they don't), Susie shares her trials and tribulations with equal parts melodrama and accidental comedy. From awkwardly trying to "break out of her shell" to realizing that even hermits need human connection, Susie's journey is full of cringe-worthy yet heartfelt moments. Through it all, she learns that life outside her comfort zone isn't as terrifying as it seems-though it might require dragging Rina into a Halloween party or surviving a lab with her mortal enemy. With a mix of laughter, tears, and a lot of snacks, Susie's story shows that college isn't just about grades; it's about finding yourself, your people, and maybe your future. But, you know, after midterms.
