"Survive 30 days, and you will live on." Cameron Russell's 12th birthday is tomorrow, but he isn't excited. On January 1st, the day of his birthday, when the clock hits twelve in midnight, Cameron's journey will began. Monsters, disasters, food, Cameron's eyes must be open wide to stand on his two feet for a month in Island of Destiny. But he than discovers there is more than this, a death trial to eliminate more warriors even if they have survived many days in the death-creeping island.

Skylar Suzuki has always been a shy girl.  Her father trained her hard, hoping his daughter will come back after thirty days from her 12th birthday; like her sister who has successfully come back alive. She had been confident at first, but when a yeti attacked she began to lose courage. Thankfully, Skylar has been saved by few fellow survivors. She than fell in love with one of them, a love that would never make up.

In the silent deadly island, more secrets are discovered as four young travelers slowly finds out the truth. The Trials of Death was only the beginning to their  month adventure, something deeper, something unexpected is creeping down on them...
