Shelly Holmes is a superhero enthusiast who gains the power to explode wood via a crystal lodged in her glasses and a rather petulant tree spirit named Frix. While she is now open to the world of superheroes including brushing with Cadic City's most popular and most hated: she finds her power not exactly the greatest for fighting crime. But when the city's most powerful hero goes missing and an inexperienced inheritor takes his place: Shelly is going to have to find a way to step up before the biggest villain in town turns Cadric City into a real urban jungle.

Her emotions hit, and she temporarily slowed down time in order for her to make a five mile walk in under three minutes. Call it, un-super speed if you'd like. She was confused. She had no clue how that happened, but she had to find how. Now, she was extremely smart. She did research. Then she saw many reports on the news about this man called "The Streak". My Misconceptions
As an orphan, Emma Johnson never exactly believed in miracles or magic of any kind. Or even the proclaimed superheroes everyone loved. That all changed the fateful night when she was mugged and attacked. At that point in her life, she had come to the conclusion that she wouldn't amount to much, and as she lied half-conscious on the ground, she couldn't help but think that she deserved this kind of death. She didn't want it, but it seemed appropriate to someone with nothing to call her own. Then in swoops in her own personal superman, saving her and taking her back to his place where she wakes up the next day. She is then surprised to find that everything she thought was fake before, was suddenly coming to life before her eyes.
