"I can't pretend anymore, Grace. It's getting really hard" she whispers in my ear and I squirm. When she meets my eyes, I say something that surprises her. "Then don't." I crash my lips on hers, crossing whatever lines we had.

She angrily, "no one has told me this, I have heard it myself with my own ears and seen it with my own eyes Mr Singhania". He grabbed her arms and pulled her close, saying, "I said stop calling me that". She said angrily looking into his eyes, "Does it feel bad? I felt the same way when I found out the truth. Kabir was talking on the phone, looking at a girl's photo, saying that she is going to be your bride. I trusted you, so I thought it was a misunderstanding. That's why I came to your office to talk to you. Instead of clearing up the misunderstanding, the truth became apparent to me. I saw you with the same girl Kabir was talking about". Vansh confusingly," Kabir?". She nodded and said," yes kabir". He said, "listen, just believe me...it's just a misunderstanding I don't know who she is and I am not getting married, neither to her nor to anyone else". She said," you listen to me...If you want to get married, go ahead. I won't stop you. I don't want to be a thorn in your life. You can marry whomever you want, I won't interfere." His grip tightened on her arm and pulled her closer and said, "I'm not marrying anyone, and if I do, it will be only when I want and You will be my bride, and only you."

"But you said! you told me you love me!" I yelled at her tears streaming down my face. She looks at me and shrugs smiling, "I didn't mean it. I was just playing around. Wanted to know what it was like. And you know I love him." "You wrote it! 'If I love you was a promise would you break it if your honest' it was a promise! you can't break a promise!" I sob out clenching the end of my shirt tightly. "How old are you? Fucking 10? Promises are made to be broken. At least I'm being true to staying honest. Wake up y/n, this is reality. I'm not even gay! I was just curious." She says rolling her eyes. "So you chose me to play with? To hurt? You think my feelings aren't valid just because I'm a lesbian? So you play with my feelings! You're just a selfish bitch! I fucking hate you Billie!" I yell unable to control my emotions anymore. "Okay? Well if that was it, I'm leaving. Brandon's waiting for me in the car." She says with a laugh. I look up to met her ocean eyes filled with amusement and accomplishment. I look at her with disgust and walk away. Away from her, hopefully forever.

She asked adding salt on my wounds anger consumed me at this moment, while tightening my grip on her arms and pulling her closer I let out a painful chuckle and said " Because he don't deserve someone like you he deserves someone much better" I could feel the burn in my eyes, my tears are fighting to rolled down my eyes but I didn't let them , hurting her is hurting me more than she could imagine. She remained silent tears rolled down her eyes damage caused by my words were clearly visible in her eyes , I am dying to hug her comfort her but the betrayal the, damge ,the pain I am carrying all these years stopped me from doing so.
