We all hear about fairy tales and happily ever afters, but what does that means in real life? Females are raised in believing theirs a prince out there, and men are raised to never show emotions.
We try to compare our lives to stories, movies and our parents but when that happens all goes wrong. We've been hurt by what we felt was real, what we felt was a guide line. . . In fact what we imagined our lives to be.
I always thought there would be a prince out there for me, one I thought that would never leave me, or hurt me. Instead I walk with my head hung low, and bite marks and bruises.
They say it's never to late to change it but when your used to it, do you really change it? They say we are already put in a path to walk down but we ourselves separate from the roots and walk another path so who's to blame? The greener grass or the idea that there might be better. The movies we've seen or the imagination we have.
Maybe we'll never know because we're to blind to try and find out
