In the 24th century, while the USS Voyager was off on its perilous mission in the Delta Quadrant, a smaller, more humbled craft was transporting science teams across the universe: the USS Catalyst.
With a crew of less than fifteen people and an overall passenger count of thirty-two, it seems like the Catalyst would never see any adventure... that is, until a new captain arrives on the ship...
NOTE: this is FANFICTION. It is in no way affiliated with Star Trek canon. That means I have creative liberty--if something doesn't line up with another piece of Star Trek information, that's because this story is an alternate universe. I'm writing for fun. Please don't go off on me for being slightly incorrect.

I revisited it and re-wrote it with a better eye after having published 17 books professionally since then. This is a my love letter to Star Trek that I grew up with.
